After 2 weeks of using it, I'd definitely recommend it...
PRO's:
1. It's the world's slimmest phone (as of December 2006), weighing only 2.3 oz.
2. LCD is super clear! Especially for its size. Better than most Motorola's and Nokia's.
3. Interface is not that different from a Nokia. So transferring from a Nokia to a Samsung phone isn't a big shift.
4. 2.0 Megapixel camera and MP3 player built-in (no flash of course, but I don't need it as I have my own digicam anyway)
5. THE PRICE!!! I got it at a discount too. :)
CON's:
1. The battery lasts me 1.5 days. What do you expect for the size of this thing... But hey, for the price, I'll just buy an extra batt. I'm actually just waiting for the new Samsung store in Robinson's Galleria to open because the batt isn't available anywhere else.
2. The unit heats up after around 2 minutes of talking and is quite painful to the ear. I have to move it away a bit.
3. Geeky ring tones... Probably a hit in Korea. No offense to my boy JK from a-Korea who actually recommended that I get a Samsung phone!
Overall, I'd give it an 8 out of 10. As you can see, the pro's totally outweigh the con's... It's no PDA phone yes, and it's not as sexy as those Motorola KRZR's... But it's sexy enough for something that was manufactured and designed in Korea! Annyeonghaseyo!!! http://www.seoulsearching.com/language/phrases.html
