Reebok Launches Global Partnership With Avon
On October 4th, at the Avon Global Survivor's Luncheon event at New York's Rainbow Room, Reebok announced its 2008 global partnership with the Avon Walk Around the World for Breast Cancer, and celebrated the global launch of the "Pink Ribbon" line of footwear and apparel that supports this worthy cause.
On hand for the event was actress Brittany Snow of "Hairspray" fame. Decked out head-to-toe in the awareness-raising gear, Snow said that the cause had a special resonance for her. "Being a young actress, I have a responsibility to get my voice out there for the causes I believe in," she said. The event resulted in extensive media coverage with top digital, television, consumer print and trade outlets covering the story.
