A repeat of the most uninteresting Finals match-up between powerhouses Detroit and San Antonio two years ago. The last time these two met, the Finals TV ratings were the lowest ever in a decade (may be exaggerated). This series has all the ingredients for a nightmare Final - Low scoring, defense oriented, international cast, slow, half-court execution... And that means we sell less NBA apparel. Looking past my selfish interests, the league will have a lower expected income based on lower interest of sponsors... even our local broadcaster, BTV, will also have a tough time selling to local sponsors. So David Stern PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE... talk to your officials and mandate them to allow GOLDEN STATE and PHOENIX to advance instead of Utah or San Antonio. The East was already doomed with the early and pending exits of Miami and Detroit.
